What Happens in Steven's Puppy Behaviour Training Classes?

The most important time of a puppies life is when he leaves his mum and brothers and sisters and comes to live with you. He leaves his entire life behind where he knew exactly how to behave and what to do. He was looked after by his mum and kept safe and secure. The first two weeks with you are your chance to teach the ground rules and these rules will shape his entire behaviour. What happens after that will only reinforce what has been laid down in these first two weeks. It is imperative you carry on the role of mum and protector and shield your puppy from danger so he will trust you in the same way he trusted his mum.

  Steven's puppy behaviour training classes will teach you:

• How to introduce your puppy to people
• How to introduce your puppy to other puppies and dogs

If puppies are allowed to meet other puppies and dogs without your influence, you are leaving them to decide how to behave. With meeting people, your puppy will soon learn other people are a source of affection and fuss on demand and will soon start to seek other people out. This also teaches your puppy everyone else is more important than you. The same principle applies to other dogs. In his classes Steven also teaches:

• How dogs take care of puppies and young dogs and how to replicate that behaviour.
• How the correct use of food can enhance your puppies attention to you.
• How to teach the recall and get consistent results that last and how to be the most important part of your puppies life.

Class Times

Monday evening class takes place at 7pm to 8pm.

Tuesday evening class takes place at 7pm to 8pm.

Wednesday afternoon class takes place at 12.30 - 1.30 pm.

Wednesday evening class takes place at 7pm to 8pm.

Saturday classes take place at 09.30 - 10.30 am and 11am to 12 noon.

After each class there is a Q&A session so you have time to get your questions answered.

The price is £10.00 per puppy per class. If you bring two puppies, your second puppy is half price.
