Residential Dog Training in Leicestershire

Hi Steve,
Just a quick note to say thanks a million for the week you spent with Max and I. It really brought it home to me just how much he and I had achieved  when I came to the session this morning. Dogs that he hadn't met before, bouncing, barking and being just like Max used to be. And what did he do? NOTHING!!!!!! I kept aiming at the other dogs and we walked through them, past them, in front of them. Brilliant.
 
There will be no stopping us now and deffinately no Faffing, Phaffing!!

Dog & Owner Residential Training + Home Visit

This week is the best time you will spend with your dog. The week comprises of five days of intensive training for you and your dog with Steven. If you are struggling with your dogs behaviour then this is the answer for you and your dog. If you would like to improve your relationship with your dog, this will prove very valuable to you in achieving that. There are two options open for you:

Option One:

Steven travels to you each day for the five days, only suitable if you live within a two hour drive of Markfield, Leicestershire and mileage charges apply.  

  • Each day is spent working with you and your dog in the environment in which they are most confident and comfortable, your home.
  • Here Steven can address the interaction you have with your dog every day.
  • This will include walking on and off lead, feeding, visitors arriving at your house and taking your dog out with you.
  • This option delivers the best results as it takes place at your house. When you take your dog away from your house, they will behave differently.
  • Lead pulling will be solved at the source of the problem.
  • Unwanted behaviour in the house will be solved at the source.
  • Your dog will learn how to behave as people come to your house or walk past your house.
  • Your dog will learn how to behave when out on a walk with you.
  • You learn how problems with dogs arise and how to deal with them. You learn to solve your dogs problems.
  • You learn how to earn your dogs respect and trust.
  • You learn how to show your dog how to behave around people, other dogs, water, ducks, deer and to come back to you despite all of these distractions.
  • Learn about your dog and how to spot when they ask you questions about how they should behave.
  • Learn how to answer the questions your dog asks in a way he understands.
  • You will solve aggression, stress and fear related behaviours in your dog and become the confident and relaxed owner you know you can be.

Option Two:    

  • The first day is spent with you at your house where Steven will work on the problems you have at home and on your regular walks.
  • As your dog is most relaxed and in control at home, this day can be the most productive time as often deeply entrenched behaviour is challenged, understood and explained and then changed. Steven spends the whole day working with your dog learning to be calm and relaxed (value £300).
  • You receive expert instruction from Steven as you spend quality time with your dog, learning how they think and make decisions, understanding how they behave.
  • The remaining four days are spent in and around Markfield, Leicestershire. During the week you are both exposed to real life problems, other dogs and a wide variety of wildlife.
  • You learn how problems with dogs arise and how to deal with them. You learn to solve your dogs problems.
  • You learn how to earn your dogs respect and trust.
  • You learn how to show your dog how to behave around people, other dogs, water, ducks, deer and to come back to you despite all of these distractions.
  • Learn about your dog and how to spot when they ask you questions about how they should behave.

 Duration:
1 week, Monday to Friday.  

Cost:
£650.00 plus mileage at 40p per mile from Markfield to your house and back.
